At present, the warming of houses is becoming a hot topic, as this allows you to reduce energy consumption, and therefore saves to some extent the finances of the owner of the dwelling. To all this I would like to add that in modern projects it is most often proposed to control the air exchange of the room, directly with the environment. Naturally, thanks to this control, the energy efficiency coefficient increases. By the way, now it is very difficult to choose a technical task for builders without special training.
Of course, everyone already understood that this property is connected with the chimney effect. I would also like to draw attention to the fact that the air pressure grows in the ratio of floors, namely, on the first floor, the pressure is lower than on the last. This effect directly leads to the fact that on the first floors there is a constant suction of cold air, but already on the upper floors, warm air tends to break out. Naturally, because of this, there are constant heat losses. The first way to reduce heat loss is as follows, namely, it is necessary to increase the thickness of the enclosing structures (the heat-insulating layer at the top). Here we must not forget that the lower part of the building must also be insulated by sealing.
