Galvanized steel

There are two types of zinc-coated steel products, namely hot-dip galvanized steel and cold-rolled galvanized steel.

Cold rolled steel or simply galvanized steel is steel that is coated with a zinc layer. Such galvanizing takes place in continuous production, during which the steel sheets are immersed in special baths. The result is steel sheets with very high performance characteristics. First, they resist corrosion. By the way, do not forget to buy a radiator in the store.

Secondly, they do not lose their original appearance for a long time. Thirdly, they are easier to transport, store and use. Of great importance in this production is the thickness of the applied zinc layer. By the way, this thickness is measured in microns or grams per coating area. Of course, the thicker the zinc coating, the more effectively it will resist moisture.

Hot-dip galvanized steel is produced by continuous galvanizing. The whole process takes place in stages, on those units. The result is materials with high mechanical characteristics. Profiled sheeting, ventilation systems, beams and components for the assembly of car bodies are produced from such rolled products.
