There is no doubt that natural facing materials are very good. However, they are often not cheap, and working with them is far from always convenient.

That is why artificial materials that imitate natural materials constantly appear on the market. Artificial finishing materials are divided into two groups – under a tree and under a stone or brick.

First, it should be noted that artificial does not at all mean the presence of an environmental hazard or lack of quality. As a rule, in the manufacture of artificial finishing materials, either natural components or neutral components are used. For example, an artificial stone is made of cement and sand, with the addition of various dyes and fillers.

Why not choose natural stone? This expensive finishing material, non-uniform in color and very problematic in processing, transportation and installation. That is why artificial stone has an increasing number of fans.

Often it imitates either brick or some kind of natural stone. At times, this material is called decorative facing stone or facade plinth tiles. It is used in the decoration of facades, fireplaces, plinths, as well as interior elements and landscape works.
