This is not yet a very common technology, but it has its advantages compared to cement-sand technology. This option for arrangement and alignment of the floor is used both in new buildings and when repairing old houses. The essence of it is quite simple. There is an opportunity to reduce the load on the supporting structures. This technique is especially beneficial when preparing the subfloor at an accelerated pace or in winter, when the arrangement of a wet cement-sand screed is not possible.
